DM Group is an Australian based company specialising in mining, commercial and industrial projects right across Australia, we use the latest 3D technology to ensure projects are accurate, co-ordinated and on budget.
We are expanding our office and capabilities and are looking for a high performing individual to join us.
Role
An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Senior Piping Design Drafter (Plant 3D) with a high level of experience in mechanical piping design, co-ordination of project details with team members and clients, deliver drawing packages. Immediate start.
The designer shall work closely with other engineers, project managers and draftsperson to provide high level, qualify drafting deliverables. An in-depth knowledge of Plant 3D execution of projects from start to finish is mandatory and expected.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-10 years experience in piping design detailing with Plant 3D -modeling/ detailing/ checking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multi task.
- High level Plant 3D / Autocad skills.
- Liaising with clients, design teams and contractors.
- Be a team player.
- Can successfully meet strict deadlines.
- Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards.
- Understand the value of quality as key driving factor in projects.
- Working with teams in a multi-office environment.
Location
You must be available for work in the Brisbane or Townsville office.
